Volunteer Project FeesEthical Encounters is an organization not connected or supported by any government. We are completely independent. For this reason, a fee is required to participate in our volunteer projects. These fees go to support all areas of our organization, including project development, volunteer housing rent, office expenses, internet advertising, utilities, insurance, the expenses for our vehicles, etc. Considering we are a small volunteer organization, our interests lie in our own run projects in Africa with offering them competent and hard working volunteers from around the world. We keep our fees as low as possible, and have some of the lowest volunteer project fees offered in Africa. Specific Volunteer Project FeesAll of our project fees are in EUROS ( EUR) . Although we use EUROS, we accept volunteers of any nationality that possess the necessary qualifications for the project of their participation. Both, our Ugandan and Tanzanian projects start at a fee of EUR 150 for one week, with additional weeks at EUR 75 per week. |
Sending Volunteer Project feesEthical Encounters’ online payment system is administered by PayPal for security
purposes. One may access our online payment system to send their project
fee payment by choosing the confirmed project, duration and dates as sent by our volunteer Specialist, then clicking on the “PayPal now” icon below. If you have applied and been accepted to EE - Please make your payment using our PayPal link below, we will send your placement pack upon payment of your total project fee! One may use their own PayPal account, or most major
credit or debit cards. Currently our confirmed Volunteers may only send project fee
payments by PayPal or options of a bank check or wire transfer will be available soon.
