Every volunteer is greatly appreciated, no matter how menial a task may seem – even supervising meal times or play times is very important and you will come to love these children, who are very affectionate and keen to please.

  • T.O.E.S Kids Project- Volunteers are needed to bring energy and activity ideas for the children between ages of 4 and 8.
  • T.E.E.S School Project - Teaching basic numbers, spelling, English, art and craft, sport and other fun games will be most appreciated. Not only is it fun for them, it is also fun for you!
  • V.I.L.S Village Project - Renovating a school, water well or constructing a home for villagers in a rural community


Accommodation Offered

Accommodation is in comfortable, basic, typical African-style huts. Local project staff provides support and advice.In your free time, why not go and enjoy the spectacular tropical rainforest or go gorilla tracking in the Bwindi National Park? The endangered mountain gorilla is one of Uganda’s star attractions. There are only about 700 left and small groups of guided tourists can get close to them.


Project Dates

Departure dates for our projects in Uganda ! The first and still best Africa volunteer and educational travel trips in the volunteer industry — We aim to take in upto 10 volunteers per departure and where possible can adjust the number accordingly. Our projects arrival dates are available only on 1st or 15th of the month, please check with our calender to see  project dates and arrange your flight booking accordingly.
